It’s very disappointing when a customer leaves us a one star review after everything was fully explained before repairs were even started. I will try to explain this the best way I can for people to understand. A customer came in the middle of the day with no appointment. And asked for a muffler delete. The first correction that needs to be understood as it was more than one muffler. we gave him an estimate of removing the rear exhaust system, and cutting out the mufflers and replacing them with a piece of pipe. The book time to remove the mufflers by Mitchell labor guide is 2.2 hours and that is what we start our estimate with. we charged an additional time to cut the mufflers out and weld them in and after they were welded, everything was painted to match. we also had two technicians working on the vehicle to try to get him out of the shop so we could get back on other vehicles that had appointments. and yes, we did it in a very timely fashion because of 30+ years of experience and having the proper tools to do the job. The Customer was very happy when he left! he also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, which they decided on our side. I do not see anywhere in his complaint that we did a poor job and that we took too long to do it. I will not apologize for the timelines and the level of Repair that we did you get what you pay for. as a customer you cannot approve a job that has been well explained to you in the cost and then complain and ask for a refund after we did the job. if the customer was not satisfied with the quality of the Repair then we would have discussed some sort of refund.
